Trial date set for two men charged in Kennedy Township assault; third defendant awaits arraignment
Two of the three men charged with rape, sexual assault and other crimes in connection with an incident that police say involved two teenage girls and occurred at a Kennedy Township home in December are scheduled to stand trial in August. The third defendant is awaiting arraignment.
Damar Hamlin expands scholarship program to include Pittsburgh students
Damar Hamlin, an NFL standout from McKees Rocks, is expanding his Chasing M’s Heroes Scholarship to benefit Pittsburgh high school students. Ten $1,000 scholarships will aid Central Catholic students, five more scholarships will go to other Pittsburgh students interested in attending trade or vocational school, promoting educational access and community support.
