Moon Area girls soccer coach Bill Pfeifer celebrated his 400th win at the school and his 527th overall, as the Tigers blanked Bethel Park, 9-0. Recognized nationally, Pfeifer credits his success to players and staff. Meanwhile, the girls golf team suffered their first defeat this season against South Fayette.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart’s cross country teams excelled at the McKeesport P3R River Trail meet, winning the Cup overall. The girls team triumphed, with notable performances by Jules Goshen and others, while the boys secured third place.

Moon Area’s girls soccer team defeated Fort LeBouef 2-1, led by Maddie Shaver and Ally D’Alesio’s goals. In boys soccer, Moon Area and Montour also secured victories while Seton La Salle defeated Bishop Canevin, 22-7, in WPIAL football action Saturday night.
