Residents living in the Sto-Rox School District are invited to participate in Sto Rocksfest, a free community celebration set to take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at the Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School Gymnasium.
The event, hosted by Pete’s Pro Painters, is designed to support families in need, provide resources and bring the community together.
The celebration will feature over $3,000 in giveaways, including a PlayStation 5, TVs, gift cards, bicycles, toys and free clothing.
Families will have the chance to “shop” the clothing selection, choosing items they need in a welcoming, store-style setup.
Attendees can also enjoy music, games and fun activities, with walking tacos and hot dogs served at no cost toward the end of the evening.
“Events like Sto Rocksfest are about more than fun, they give families a chance to feel supported and celebrated,” district Superintendent Sonya Coleman said. “For many in our community, this is an opportunity to enjoy time together, access resources and experience generosity firsthand.
“We are grateful to Pete’s Pro Painters for making this possible.”
