Do you like the mural installed at the trestle area of McKees Rocks? Join us to celebrate its dedication on Saturday, August 24rd at 1 p.m. at the mural location. MarySue Flick, Artist at Noble Design Studios and the McKees Rocks Women’s Alliance are proud to host a dedication of the new mural at the railroad trestle located at the intersection of Chartiers and Island Avenues.
Painters that will be honored for their contribution include MR Women’s Alliance members, Brittany Charles, Ishara Henry, Samantha Levitski-Wright, Sandy Saban, Vicki Batcha, Nora Peacock, Trinity Griffin, Nancy Rees, as well as Dale Howell, Patricia Ray, Theresa Clark, Nicole Jones, Inez Lucky, Athena Moore, Elizabeth Perry, Willie Dawson and David Flick.
Thanks also to the following contributors and supporters: The Borough of McKees Rocks, The McKees Rocks Street Department, Genessee & Wyoming Railroad, The McKees Rocks Community Development Corporation, Dan Mahoney, and last but definitely not least, the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts who funded the project through their Allegheny Arts Revival Grant.
