Do you like to tell stories? Take photos?
If so, we have the gig for you
Freelancers wanted!
Yes, we’ve gotten to the point where we would like to have more people out in the various West Hills communities keeping an eye out for and then telling stories about their hometowns.
It would help if you had some writing experience — news or feature writing experience would be even better — but we’re willing to work with those who have none. We can show you the basics and you can take it from there. It’s a great way to get to know your community better, meet people and — most importantly — hold elected officials accountable for their actions. Writers and photographers will be paid for their submissions; the rate will depend on the type of story/photo that’s needed and provided.
