The Thornburg Bridge will close at 9 p.m. on Friday, June 2 and remain closed until Monday, June 5 at 6 a.m., according to the Crafton Borough Police Department.
Police stated the same detour would be in place for this closure as was used during the closure earlier this month. An intersection next to the bridge is scheduled to be milled and repaved during this closure. Police warn of heavy delays for commuters passing through the intersection.
Weather permitting, the bridge may reopen as early as June 4.
