Coraopolis man convicted of aggravated indecent assault
A 27-year-old Coraopolis man was found guilty of aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court Wednesday in connection with an incident that took place at a Robinson Township tattoo parlor in June 2025.
Sean Michael Seretti was convicted after a jury trial that began Monday and was ordered to return for sentencing Dec. 1. A pre-sentencing report, which gathers background information on the defendant, will be completed prior to Seretti’s sentencing hearing.
Judge Elliot Howsie, who presided over the trial, will consider that report as well as sentencing guidelines and any victim impact statements prior to handing down a sentence.
The statutory maximum for felony aggravated indecent assault is 10 years in prison and the maximum for misdemeanor indecent assault is two years in prison.
According to a criminal complaint filed by county police, Robinson police on June 6, 2025, asked county police investigators for assistance regarding a reported sexual assault at a local tattoo establishment.
Based on witness interviews and additional evidence collected during the investigation, county police detectives determined that Seretti assaulted a female customer while administering a tattoo on June 5, 2025.
According to the complaint, the customer told police she had known the 6-foot-2, 300-pound Seretti for approximately 13 years and previously had received several other tattoos from him.
More than three hours into the procedure on June 5, 2025, the customer texted a friend that she had been sexually assaulted several times and that she wanted to run to her car. According to the complaint, the customer then told Seretti she needed to retrieve a hoodie from her car but instead got in and drove immediately to the Robinson police station to file a report.
On June 30, 2025, two county police detectives interviewed Seretti at his tattoo shop and determined that probable cause existed to file charges.
