Deluzio: $10 Million milestone for Western PA constituents

Since taking office in January 2023, my team of constituent caseworkers has been firing on all cylinders to make life better for all of us — it’s a big part of why I’m in this job. And it’s paying off.

I’m excited to share that my office has hit a major milestone in our work to serve the good people of Western PA: more than $10 million returned to constituents in earned federal government benefits and services.

Whether it’s needing help cutting through the bureaucracy to get earned veterans’ benefits, fixing a student loan problem or getting the tax refund that you’re owed — my team is hard at work to serve you.

More than 33 months in office, and my team has closed nearly 3,000 constituent cases — putting money back in your pockets, totaling more than $10.1 million. One of those closed cases was for Mary in Shaler. Watch Mary’s story to learn about how my office helped get her back on disability benefits.
