Sto-Rox School District is preparing to celebrate Homecoming this weekend with a parade, a football game, and a dance in continuation of this annual tradition. Sto-Rox Student Council is sponsoring Sto-Rox Homecoming 2024: The Masquerade.
Friday, September 27
At 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Homecoming Parade participants will meet at Sanvito Funeral Home, 1650 Broadway Ave, McKees Rocks, PA 15136. At the same time, the gates will open at Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School Stadium for the Sto-Rox vs. Charleroi football game.
At 6 p.m., the parade will start and proceed down Broadway, onto Valley Street, and then onto Russellwood Ave. to the stadium entrance. Students will be announced as they enter the stadium in their vehicles. This all leads up to kickoff of Sto-Rox vs. Charleroi at 7 p.m.; the crowning ceremony will take place at halftime.
