High school soccer: Two West Hills players named to All-State squads

Two West Hills area players were named to the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association’s All-State teams for 2025.

Owen Minzer, a senior at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, was one of 21 midfielders named to the boys squad.

Kendall Dydek, a senior at Moon Area, was one of two dozen midfielders chosen to the girls squad.

Minzer’s OLSH team reached the semifinals of the PIAA Class 1A tournament before losing to Bentworth – the same team that defeated the Chargers in the WPIAL championship game.

Dydek’s Moon squad finished third in the WPIAL tournament and lost its first-round PIAA match.
