Brandon Bennett led Montour to a 28-17 victory over McKeesport, showcasing his skills with 76 rushing yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions. The Spartans effectively contained McKeesport standout Kemon Spell in the second half, earning their second consecutive win.

Liv DeGori led Moon Area to its fifth consecutive MAC girls golf title with a 2-over-par 38 Thursday at Black Hawk Golf Club. DeGori’s strong performance was supported by Hope Cordle and Adi Hallahan. The Moon girls volleyball team lost to Eden Christian. while Our Lady of the Sacred Heart beat Frazier, 3-2.
