The staff of Cookie Cookie Ice Cream was honored by the Allegheny County Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for their work with providing job opportunities for the disabled community.

In the back row stands Bureau Direc-tor of OVR Ryan Hyde and Vocational Rehabilitation Coordinator Stephen Coperich. The business opened last summer with the intention of providing people with special needs an environment where they could learn valuable skills, and they were appreciated.
“A lot of places you have to change the culture of a place for people with special needs, but that is already our culture,” Connie Feda said at the time.
