West Hills motorists will face lane restrictions on a pair of area roadways starting Monday, April 27, if the weather cooperates.
Overnight lane restrictions will take effect Monday on Route 22/30/60 (Steubenville Pike/Lincoln Highway) in Robinson Township, and motorists will encounter daytime lane restrictions on Montour Run Road (Route 3072) in Moon Township.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said that center median removal work requiring short-term lane closures will occur on Route 22/30/60 between Montour Church Road and Campbells Run Road weeknights from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through late May.
The work is part of a $58 million project in which the existing I-376 Parkway West/Route 22/30 interchange in Robinson Township will be reconfigured into District 11’s first Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) partial cloverleaf interchange.

PennDOT officials say the DDI will improve existing and future traffic flow, operations, queuing and safety on I-376, associated ramps and Route 60.
Work will include bridge replacement, roadway and ramp reconstruction, slope treatment, drainage improvements, traffic signals upgrades, signing and pavement markings installation, and highway lighting updates.
Restrictions include long-term traffic shifts on I-376, closures and detours on interchange ramps, long-term single-lane restrictions on Route 22/30, and closures and detours on Route 22/30 for bridge demolition, and the erection of new bridges. The overall project is expected to conclude in the fall of 2029.
The project is the first in the I-376 Parkway West corridor to implement an aesthetic component to the design with a theme of Hidden Histories, serving as a guiding narrative to highlight often-overlooked layers of the region’s unique appeal.
For the Moon Township project, widening work requiring traffic shifts in the eastbound direction of Montour Run Road between I-376 and Hookstown Grade Road will occur from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through mid-September. Additionally, lane and shoulder restrictions will occur for full depth reconstruction work at the Scott Road and Park Manor Boulevard intersections with Montour Run Road.

Overnight and weekend work may occur during this phase of work. Additional information will be provided in advance of the next phase of work.
The work is part of a $6.29 million Market Place District Improvement project sponsored by the Moon Transportation Authority. The project includes drainage upgrades, signal improvements, milling and paving, guiderail updates, roadway widening and pavement marking installation work.
