SOLD OUT: Kennedy Pines development wrapping up

While construction crews continue working on finishing touches, the last of 43 single-family homes constructed at Kennedy Pines is now under contract.

Local real estate developer Frank Zappala told Kennedy commissioners the newly-constructed Kennedy Pines sold out in “record time.”

“It’s all about the location, it’s all about the community,” said Zappala, vice president of the First City Company, during the Sept. 9 meeting.

Construction for Kennedy Pines got underway in 2019, with most of the 43 single-family homes completed by early 2021. Zappala said a sale is pending on the final remaining property.

Sale prices averaged above $400,000, according to Mel Weinstein, treasurer and interim manager.
