Six other West Hills area schools will be in action as well Friday night.

Tigers defensive linemen Nick Clemens has his sights set on recovering a Peters Township fumble after Moon registered a Qb sack. Clemens recovered the loose ball and raced to the end zone for a TD. Cornell used some early fireworks to take charge in its meeting with Serra Catholic and two West Hills area quarterbacks each threw for four touchdowns to lead their teams to wins. (Photos)

Raiders running back Walter Clarit fights for yardage in Cornell’s 38-6 win over visiting Serra Catholic. Cornell will have its hands full when it takes on Fort Cherry in a Class A Black Hills Conference matchup Friday, Oct. 4. That’s one of six games involving West Hills area schools Friday night, and a seventh game is on tap for Saturday.
