Moon Area girls soccer coach Bill Pfeifer celebrated his 400th win at the school and his 527th overall, as the Tigers blanked Bethel Park, 9-0. Recognized nationally, Pfeifer credits his success to players and staff. Meanwhile, the girls golf team suffered their first defeat this season against South Fayette.

Moon Area overcame an early deficit to defeat Montour 41-13, with Andrew Cross throwing three touchdowns and rushing for another, while Antione Arnett rushed for 160 yards and two scores, dominating the game’s second half. In other games Friday night, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Carlynton, Cornell and Sto-Rox all lost.
