Two West Hills area high schools are being recognized for their commitment to sportsmanship by the WPIAL. Cornell and Moon are the recipients of the 28th annual WPIAL Sportsmanship Award.
The West Hills Symphonic Band, directed by Clem Rolin and Tom Snyder, has been enriching audiences since 1967 with its diverse repertoire. The band hosts free public concerts throughout the year, emphasizing the spirit of performance and the joy of music.
A golf outing to honor the memory of a former Sto-Rox teacher and coach has benefited the school district to the tune of $7,000.
