Jonah Schollaert secured the WPIAL Class 2A boys individual golf championship with a total score of 144, winning by two strokes. He will advance to the PIAA Championships, as will Bishop Canevin's Jamin Brock, who finished 17th.Other sports results include soccer, cross country, and volleyball matches.
The Moon Area girls soccer team defeated Blackhawk 5-0, improving to 9-1 overall. Key players included Kendall Dydek and Ally D’Alesio. Montour won 6-0 against Chartiers Valley with Irelynn Hobbs scoring three goals, while Our Lady of the Sacred Heart triumphed over Freedom 3-1.

Meanwhile, Carlynton’s Ethan Moldovan won his division at the Ben Bloser Bulldog Invitational race, and Moon and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart ran at the PIAA Foundation meet.
