A showdown of two of the top Class A high school football teams in the state will take place Friday night at Dormont Memorial Stadium when Bishop Canevin hosts unbeaten Fort Cherry. Six other West Hills area schools will be in action as well Friday night.
Cornell will have its hands full when it takes on Fort Cherry in a Class A Black Hills Conference matchup Friday, Oct. 4. That's one of six games involving West Hills area schools Friday night, and a seventh game is on tap for Saturday.
Sto-Rox will entertain Charleroi as both teams look to break into the victory column for the first time this season. Six other West Hills high schools also will be in action Friday night.
