Cross country: Four West Hills schools expected to run in Red, White & Blue Classic

The 23rd annual Red, White & Blue Classic cross country meet at White Oak Park will feature nearly 100 schools, including four West Hills teams. Competitions are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Sept. 5-6, showcasing various classes and returning runners.

Friday Night Lights: Cross, Arnett power Moon past Montour; Carlynton, OLSH fall

Moon Area overcame an early deficit to defeat Montour 41-13, with Andrew Cross throwing three touchdowns and rushing for another, while Antione Arnett rushed for 160 yards and two scores, dominating the game's second half. In other games Friday night, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Carlynton, Cornell and Sto-Rox all lost.
