RMU hockey: Men split with Air Force to earn coach 300th career victory; women sweep Syracuse

Robert Morris University's men's hockey team split a series against Air Force, earning coach Derek Schooley his 300th career win. The Colonials lost 4-1 on Friday but rebounded to win 6-3 on Saturday, improving their conference record to 4-3-1. The Colonial women swept Syracuse.

High school roundup: Moon boys fall to Lincoln Park; Clairton stops Sto-Rox

Moon Area lost 61-53 to Lincoln Park after leading at halftime. Turnovers and missed shots plagued Moon in the final quarter. Jackson Bauman led Moon with 26 points, while Lincoln Park’s Josh Pratt scored 25 to secure the victory. Sto-Rox fell to Clairton in another boys game.

High school roundup: Montour, Bishop Canevin fall in boys play; Carlynton posts girls win

Damian Harrison led New Castle with 24 points in their 61-40 win over Montour, North Catholic triumphed over Bishop Canevin 96-63, while in girls play, Allderdice defeated Moon Area 61-47. Carlynton was the lone West Hills school to come up a winner, whipping New Brighton.
