High school roundup: West Hills teams fall in WPIAL volleyball, softball and lacrosse

Both Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and Montour were eliminated in the WPIAL boys volleyball playoffs, with OLSH losing to Shaler 3-0 and Montour falling to Seton LaSalle 3-1. In softball, OLSH lost to Neshannock 11-1 and Jeannette defeated Bishop Canevin 10-0. Upper St. Clair eliminated Moon in girls lacrosse.

Carlynton won its softball game while Moon dominated in flag football and OLSH prevailed in boys volleyball

Matteo Weber's three RBIs and Michael Ivanoff's strong pitching led Montour to a 5-3 win over Silo Saturday in Florida. Washington overcame an 8-1 deficit to beat Bishop Canevin, while Quaker Valley secured a victory against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart.
