Moon Area secured its first girls tennis win of the season with a 3-2 triumph over Winchester Thurston, highlighted by singles victories from Haley Bates and Carolyn Frye, along with a doubles win from Kristina Singh and Caroline Hall.
Senior Angelina Schild matched a school record by scoring 2-under-par 34, leading Moon Area to a 164-210 win against Deer Lakes. This victory improved the Tigers’ record to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in section play.

Ryan Linn, in his ninth season as Moon Area's head football coach, feels optimistic about his veteran squad with 26 seniors, including key returners. With improved speed and athleticism, they aim for a successful start against Trinity in their season opener.
