A preliminary hearing for three men charged with multiple counts of rape, sexual assault and other crimes in connection with an incident that police say involved two teenage girls and occurred at home in Kennedy Township earlier this month was postponed until Jan. 6, 2026.
Three men are awaiting a court hearing on charges that they raped and sexually assaulted two teenage girls at a home in Kennedy Township over the weekend. The three were being held in the Allegheny County Jail Tuesday after bail was denied following their arrest Monday.
Robinson Township police officer Steven Paul Pies, 50, faces felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor simple assault charges for what authorities say was an off-duty July 2 attack. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 26 to determine if he stands trial.
