High school sports: Carlynton girls sweep track meet; Montour player advances to WPIAL tennis tourney

High school sports: OLSH baseball sweeps Carlynton; Montour softball rolls to win

Chad Minton’s sixth-inning single guided Our Lady of the Sacred Heart to a 5-1 win over Carlynton, completing a doubleheader sweep. OLSH also won the first game 7-0, led by Iseia Fields-Schulz's impressive pitching. Connellsville' pulled out an eighth-inning victory against Montour and Montour's softball whipped Ellwood City.
