All four West Hills area high school girls basketball teams that were in action Thursday night posted easy wins in their respective section debuts. Sto-Rox, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Montour and Bishop Canevin all proved victorious.
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart handled Sto-Rox in a battle of West Hills area boys high school basketball teams Tuesday night. In other games, Carlynton's boys came from behind to win and Carlynton's girls had an easy time of it in their win over Leechburg.
