Three West Hills swimmers competed at the PIAA Swimming and Diving Championships Saturday, with Cornell's Mimi Chamberlain winning a seventh-place medal in the 100 breaststroke. Fellow Cornell swimmer Noah Pickett placed first in the 500 freestyle B final, while Evey Fahnestock did not advance past preliminaries in the 100 breaststroke.

The Moon Area baseball team began the season with a no-hitter, defeating Archbishop Carroll 11-0. At the PIAA Swim Championships three West Hills swimmers competed and one of them -- Mimi Chamberlain of Cornell -- finished 10th overall in the 200 individual medley and Noah Pickett of Cornell placed 12th overall in the 100 butterfly.
