Our Lady of the Sacred Heart pulled out a 4-3 softball victory over Ursuline Friday in Tennessee while Moon Area held on in the final frame to beat Peters Township, 7-6, in a Class 5A Section 2 baseball matchup. Carlynton had success in both track and field and boys tennis.
Landon Blank’s clutch two-run, seventh-inning double led Taylor Allderdice to a 5-4 victory over Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Thursday. Montour also fell in a close one, losing 3-2 to Canon-McMillan.

West Hills high school spring sports are in progress, showcasing notable performances. The Carlynton Cougars baseball team rallied for an 8-7 win over McKeesport, highlighted by pitcher Ray Filipovitz's debut.
