When West Hills Gazette Editor Sonja Reis encountered a toothache-stricken T. rex outside Fred Rogers Productions in Pittsburgh's South Side Works, she contemplated sharing his plight on social media. Instead, she opted to enlist broader support using the digital news platform to get the Mister Rogers-themed dinosaur much needed dental care.

Coraopolis, Moon to share in road project funding

Transportation projects in two West Hills communities are among 66 statewide that will receive more than $51 million combined from the state’s Multimodal Transportation fund. Locally, Coraopolis and Moon Township are among four Allegheny County communities that will share in some of the funding.

PennDOT District 11 announces ongoing southbound I-79 ramp closures at Route 60 interchange in Robinson and Kennedy townships.
