Two West Hills students chosen to receive WPIAL scholar-athlete award
Joelle Ludwick and Braiden Sudor, seniors from Montour and Bishop Canevin, respectively, received the WPIAL James Collins Scholar-Athlete Award, each earning a $1,000 scholarship for their academic and athletic achievements.
High school sports: Moon softball falls to South Fayette; OLSH downs Carlynton
South Fayette defeated Moon Area, 8-4 , in softball, while Our Lady of the Sacred Heart triumphed 18-1 over Carlynton. In baseball, Bishop Canevin whipped Springdale, 11-1, and in boys volleyball, Montour and OLSH fell in reverse sweeps.
