Tiernan McCullough and Jake Johnson led with 16 points each. In other matches, Bishop Canevin and Montour fell while Carlynton bested Jefferson-Morgan in girls action.

In girls basketball Thursday night, Bishop Canevin defeated Monessen 45-42, led by Kya Cooley's 15 points. Sto-Rox won 51-16 against New Brighton, while Our Lady of the Sacred Heart triumphed 59-11 over Ellwood City. Montour dominated New Castle 55-6 in another game.
