Bishop Canevin defeated Steel Valley 9-2, in WPIAL baseball action Wednesday, with Brady Wagner driving in two runs and John Poppert pitching a complete game. Montour triumphed over Quaker Valley 14-0, fueled by Levi Gladu’s triple. In softball, Montour rallied to beat Mars Area 18-5, led by Paige Fiedler and Natalie Ciamacco.

Moon defeated Keystone Oaks, 33-13, in Tuesday's tournament opener and followed with a 33-6 win over top seeded Seton LaSalle.
