The Moon Area wrestling team defeated Montour, 54-18, Wednesday night in a WPIAL Class 3A dual meet, winning five of the first six weight classes, and registering five pins in all.

Moon Area dominated the 2026 Ed Driscoll MAC Wrestling Championships with three individual champions: Bryce Thomas, Liam Costa, and Michael Olszewski. Four other wrestlers placed second, and Montour and Carlynton also had competitors earn top finishes, showcasing strong performances overall.

The win was fueled by DeSean Goode’s 18 points and Ryan Prather’s critical 3-pointers. Meanwhile, the women’s team defeated Milwaukee, 62-52, with Aislin Malcom scoring 18 points.
